Major: International Affairs/Government and Law

Minor: Spanish

Before coming to Lafayette, I had a vision for the woman I wanted to be, or rather become. I wanted to be that girl that you could go to for help in your class; I also wanted to be the girl that knew every lacrosse play and had won over the trust of all her teammates; at the same time, I also wanted to be involved in Greek Life and the community. It was not until I arrived, that I realized that those “girls” I envisioned were not mutually exclusive; I could be all of them at the same time.

I suppose George Wharton Pepper had the same idea when he formulated his conception of the “Lafayette Ideal.” Since coming to Lafayette, I would like to think I have embodied the Lafayette Ideal. In the classroom, I strive for academic excellence. My hard work has paid off; I have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA, serve as an Excel Scholar, join several honor societies, graduate in three years, and receive acceptance to the University of Cambridge to pursue a Master’s in Politics and International Studies. Academics have been the most important part of my collegiate experience, but not the only experience. At Lafayette I have also been a member of the Women’s Lacrosse team, Alpha Phi Sorority, and Athletes C.A.R.E. service club. My membership in the aforementioned organizations have allowed me to serve my home, campus and Easton communities as a mentor to students, volunteer at the Children’s Home, elementary school tutor, and perhaps my favorite, organizer of the Toys for Tots drive.
