George Wharton Pepper Prize Application

The George Wharton Pepper Prize is awarded to the senior who, by the vote of the faculty, staff and students, "most nearly represents the Lafayette ideal."

  • In the space below please enter a brief self-statement of 300 words or less explaining how your accomplishments relate to the Lafayette ideal. “The Lafayette Ideal is a well-rounded, educated member of the senior class who adds to a sound academic record, noteworthy participation in college activities and student life, which contribute to the advancement of the College on and off the campus. Academic brilliance or athletic prowess alone is not the criterion [for selection as a Pepper Prize Recipient].”
